How we relate to Schlaraffia
Schlaraffia is a worldwide fellowship for art, humor and play, founded in 1859. It is not a centrally run club but a network of many independent local communities — the Reyche (a Reych is a single local chapter). Each Reych shapes its own life and has its own history, its own place, and often its own Uhunetzseite (its own website).
Schlaraffiafriends is a public invitation built around this idea, and it does not replace the individual chapters’ own presences. We don’t rank one Reych above another and we don’t take their place; we simply help you find the path to a suitable Reych in the first place. Anyone who truly wants to experience Schlaraffia always does so locally, in a specific Reych.
